Sarah Lake is the head of the Drivers of Deforestation Program at the Global Canopy Program (GCP), which includes the Forest 500 and newly launched Trase initiative. She began at GCP in June of this year after working on Global Forest Watch at the World Resources Institute where she did private sector engagement on commodity drivers of deforestation. Sarah holds a PhD from the University of Colorado in economic and environmental sociology, with over a decade of experience in supply chain governance and its impact on the environment.
