Rodrigo Suarez Castaño is Climate Change Director at the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Colombia. He is responsible for the design, structure and approach of the Colombian Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs). Previously he was Deputy Director of the National Authority of Environmental Licenses (ANLA). Mr. Suarez holds a degree in environmental and sanitary engineering from La Salle University of Bogotá, in Natural and Environmental Resources Administration from Saint Thomas University of Bogotá, with specializations in Public Management and Administrative Institutions from Los Andes University and in Air Quality Management from the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute.
