During my time with the Global Landscape Forum (GLF) as a Youth Facilitator, I gained a wonderful experience that I will always treasure. My experience with the Youth in Landscapes (YIL) program raised my aspiration as a young Moroccan woman who always believed that I could have a significant impact on my beloved country. I love how all the GLF team encouraged us to be involved in all the sessions.

Being a Youth Facilitator at the YIL program was a learning experience for me, it opened me up to new ways of thinking. My trainers have inspired me to be a good facilitator. They taught me new skills that are useful. From this experience, I recognized that I have to improve my facilitation skills as much as I can and put the skills I learned into an actual work plan.

For me, creating of the Youth in Landscapes Program  is a critical need for youth. This program has made the participation of youth valuable. Furthermore, this open space for youth facilitators has helped us to build up a discussions on landscape issues and exchange our ideas for solutions. Based on the sessions I have attended, I recognized that GLF never stops to think about collaborative solutions where youth could be the potential leader.

I really enjoyed working with the youth facilitators who are very friendly, encouraging and a supportive team that will motivate you to perform better and develop your skills. I am very delighted to have participate in Youth in Landscape Forum which encouraged me to be more determined and collaborative leader.
