Prof. Dr. Herry Purnomo is system modeler with advanced knowledge of multi-level governance, value-chain analysis, adaptive collaborative management, and action research. His work encompasses furniture value chains, landscape management, criteria and indicators for sustainable forest management, policy science, conflict resolution, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, carbon life cycles, and funding reforestation. With an academic background in forestry, artificial intelligence and agricultural meteorology, he has worked for 20 years across Asia, including in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
