Watch this Discussion Forum on the second day of the Global Landscapes Forum 2014, in Lima, Peru, during COP20. Countries are required to comply with seven safeguards articulated in the UNFCCC COP 16 Cancun Agreement, this session looks at the key advances and challenges in the implementation of Safeguards Information Systems (SIS) by REDD+ countries, how existing monitoring systems and datasets can be leveraged to support SIS implementation and who will pay for SIS.
