Tony Wenas is currently President Director of PT. Riau Andalan Pulp & Paper (RAPP), a subsidiary of APRIL. Prior to Riau Andalan Pulp & Paper, Mr. Wenas held several top executive positions in major mining companies, including Chief Executive Officer of PT Vale Indonesia, Director and Executive Vice-President of PT Freeport Indonesia as well as Country Head of Intrepid Mines, Ltd. Currently a board member of the Indonesian Mining Association, he is also chairman of the Australia, New Zealand and Timor Leste committee, chairman of Permanent Committee Coordinator Association of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Forestry, both at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KADIN). He obtained his Business Law degree from the University of Indonesia and completed the Sloan School of Management executive program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
