Bruce Cabarle is Partnerships for Forests’ team leader, coordinating the work of staff in Bristol, Ghana, Ethiopia and Indonesia and overseeing the programme’s portfolio of partnerships. Bruce’s career has focussed on finding creative and entrepreneurial business solutions that will protect forests, communities and our climate for generations to come. Prior to joining the P4F team, Bruce worked for renowned forest conservation and climate NGOs including WWF, World Resources Institute, and the International Institute for Environment and Development. On the ground, he has worked in some of the world’s largest and most important forest ecoregions – the Amazon-Andes and the Borneo and Congo basins – negotiating agreements for financing and certified-product supply chains with local communities, national governments, the World Bank and private sector companies such as IKEA, Wal-Mart and The Home Depot.
