The Youth in Landscapes Initiative unites young innovators (aged 18 – 35) to develop real-world solutions to land use challenges in partnership with organisations working on the ground.

Tamanda Chabvuta


Ellen Tamanda CHABVUTA holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from the University of Malawi with English Literature and Psychology as her key courses. She possesses educative, journalistic, writing and communicative skills with practice in article writing and editing in the media.

She is currently working as Communications Officer for National Smallholder Farmers Association of Malawi (NASFAM). With this organisation she is supporting in the fight for zero hunger and poverty by providing farmer based educative extension services for smallholder farmers with inclusiveness of women and youth. She is currently aspiring for a Masters degree in Development Communications.
