Trevor Nicholls

Trevor Nicholls is the CEO of CABI, an international not-for-profit organization that improves people’s lives worldwide by providing information and applying scientific expertise to solve problems in agriculture and the environment. CABI is leading Plantwise, a global initiative to increase global food security by reducing losses to pests and diseases. Mr. Nicholls is also a non-executive director of three biotech companies – Avacta Group plc, Conidia Biosciences Ltd and hVivo plc. He is a manager with over 30 years’ experience of building international businesses in the life science industry, with a focus on genomics, major pharma, biotech and academic clients. Before taking up his current role with CABI, he was Chief Commercial Officer for Affymetrix Inc. and founder CEO of Oxagen Ltd. Mr. Nicholls holds a BA and PhD in Biochemistry from the University of York.
