Rodrigo C. A. Lima

Rodrigo C. A. Lima is the Director General of Agroicone. Agroicone conducts projects and studies for various value chains, especially sugarcane; beef and dairy; grain commodities; perennial crops (planted forests and palm oil); bio-energy and those from smallholders. He is a lawyer with expertise in international trade, non-tariff barriers and sustainable development and develops projects to promote the sustainability of different agricultural chains, comprising the engagement of stakeholders, with a focus on continuous improvement and mutual gains approach. Mr. Lima has authored the book Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures in the WTO: neoprotectionism or defense of legitimate objectives. He has a PhD in Law of International Economic Relations at the Catholic University of São Paulo and Master’s degree in International Law at the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
