Roberto Silva Waack

Roberto Silva Waack is Founding member and Chairman of the board of Amata S.A., a Brazilian forestry company. He also is Chairman of the WWF Brazil board and board member of the Global Reporting Initiative, Ethos Institute and the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance. Previously Mr. Waack served as Chairman of the board of the Forest Stewardship Council; and as CEO of Amata S.A., Orsa Florestal and Director of pharmaceutical companies. He was a Founding member of the Brazilian Coalition on Climate, Forests and Agriculture. He is a biologist with a Master’s degree in Business Administration by the University of Sao Paulo.
