As senior manager for learning and innovation with IDH Sustainable Trade Initiative, Nienke Stam initiates and support learning on deforestation free supply chains and landscape approaches across the IDH sectoral programs and the IDH Initiative for Sustainable Landscapes, ISLA. From 2002-2007, she worked in the private sector on rural market development for solar energy, in cassava processing, and as an entrepreneur importing sundried organic fruits from Africa. With that experience, she joined the consultancy firm Triodos Facet, later called Enclude, as team lead on Green Growth. Ms. Stam studied rural development at Wageningen University, and specialized in rural SME development.
