Maarten Zonneveld

Associate Scientist, Bioversity International

Maarten Zonneveld is associate scientist for Bioversity International, and is currently located in Turrialba, Costa Rica. He has seven years of research experience related to agricultural biodiversity in various South American countries and works now two years in Central America. He is leader of the project CafeAdapt on planning and investment in climate-resilient coffee landscapes in Guatemala and Nicaragua, and which is supported by the Climate Change, Agriculture, and Food Security research program. Mr. Zonneveld has a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences from Ghent University, Belgium, and an MSc in Forest and Nature Management, Wageningen University, the Netherlands.
