Jackson Kimani is the Regional Director for Africa with the Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI). From 2006 to 2008 Mr. Kimani served as a Deputy Director, CFO and Procurement Director for a $100 million initiative focused on effecting economic development in rural communities. In these positions, Mr. Kimani was part of the leadership team that launched the overall program and established the Malawi and Rwanda operations. In 2008, he helped set up the CCI programs in East Africa and initiated joint planning with multiple government and other partners to develop national systems to track fluxes of greenhouse gases within a framework of national development priorities. Mr. Kimani first joined the Clinton Foundation as a Consultant to build fact bases relevant for Africa and models for fertilizer production, use and transport.
