Gloria Suárez is the Director for Water Management of the Corporación Autónoma Regional del Valle in Colombia. She joined the Environmental Management Department of the Corporación Autónoma Regional del Valle del Cauca (CVC) in 2001 and oversees the institution’s community-focused water management projects. She has worked with communities and indigenous populations on environmental conservation and natural resource management projects across Colombia, leading efforts to strengthen locally-managed water systems. Ms. Suarez has a degree in Sociology from the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia.
