Renzo Paladines is the Vice-President of Naturaleza and Cultura, and Executive Director of the institution in Ecuador since its beginnings in 1996. He has also led the organization’s recent expansion into Peru and Colombia. Mr. Paladines has served as coordinator of the United Nations Geo-Loja report and as President of the Regional Council of the Catamayo-Chira river basin. In recognition of his efforts in conservation and environmental management, he received the Podocarpus Award from Loja’s Provincial Council for his efforts. He holds a Master’s degree from the People’s Friendship University in Moscow.
