Rafael Calderón is the Senior Director of Rare’s Latin America programs. He leads a team of practitioners implementing social marketing campaigns seeking to change social behavior towards improved sustainable natural resource management and biodiversity conservation at the local level. Before joining Rare, Mr. Calderón worked for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) as Director for their Mexico Gulf Program. He received his Master of Science in Natural Resources Management from Humboldt State University and his Bachelor’s degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras.
