Pablo Pacheco is a Senior Scientist at CIFOR and is conducting global research on the implications of trade and investment trends on forests, people’s livelihoods and economic development, and the emerging state and non-state responses towards building multi-scale governance options and architectures to manage their social, economic and environmental impacts. He holds a B.Sc. in Sociology, a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics and a PhD in Geography from the Graduate School of Geography at Clark University, MA, USA.
