Olaf Brugman is the Manager of sustainability policies and dialogues of Rabobank Sustainability. He is responsible for global sustainability policy development, issue management and socioenvironmental risk management at Rabobank. He is also the President of the Round Table for Responsible Soy (RTRS), and treasurer of the UN Global Compact Netherlands Network. His focus areas at this moment are sustainable agrocommodity supply chains and land governance. He fulfilled various advisory roles in the development of sustainable agriculture investment principles of UN Global Compact, FAO and the OECD. Prior to joining Rabobank in 2001, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consultants, and held various research and teaching functions in the fields of organizational sociology, organization design and technology management at Nijmegen Business School, the Royal Dutch Defense Academy and Twente University of Technology. He holds a doctorate in Business Studies from the Nijmegen Business School, and an MA in Public Administration from Twente University.
