Nur Masripatin is the Director General for Climate Change in the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Indonesia. Previously she served as Director of the Centre for Standardization and Environment in the Ministry of Forestry of Indonesia. She has engaged in climate change negotiations and has been the REDD+ Lead Negotiator in UNFCCC meetings for the past few years. She is currently the Coordinator of the ASEAN Regional Knowledge Network on Forest and Climate Change (ARKN-FCC), and of Safeguards Information System (SIS-REDD+) development in Indonesia. Before taking up the current assignment Ms. Masripatin held multiple leadership roles in the Forestry Research and Development Agency. She was also the Lead Author of Indonesia REDD+ Readiness Strategy and the FCPF–REDD+ Readiness Plan.
