Kriton Arsenis is the founder of the Roadfree primary forests initiative. He is a former Member of the European Parliament (2009 – 2014). His legislative work was focused on Forests, Biodiversity and Climate Change. In 2011, the 750 MEPs voted him best MEP for the international year of forests. From 2005 to 2009, Mr. Arsenis designed and coordinated the Sustainable Aegean Islands campaign, which received the European Commission Europa Nostra Grand Prize. He studied Planning at the University of Thessaly and International Development at Harvard University.
