Kemi Seesink is the Global Policy and Advocacy Coordinator of the Global Water Initiative. She has a background in environmental microbiology with a focus on water quality for community health, as well as in education for sustainable development. She has worked at various international and national level organisations on the interface between poverty reduction and environmental conservation. Ms. Seesink has experience in the development and shaping of policies and the supporting processes required for improved participation in and monitoring of these policies. She has also been engaged in various policy arenas including the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change, Multi-lateral Environmental Agreements as well as various national policies and processes such as National Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers.
