Clément Chenost is a Co-Founder of the Moringa Fund, a pioneer €85 million impact fund, dedicated to profitable agroforestry projects with high environmental and social impacts located in Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa. He has in-depth experience in forestry, agroforestry, project management and finance. Mr. Chenost started his career in 2006 at the French Forestry Commission (Office National des Forêts) before joining the sustainable development team of Ernst & Young where he audited environmental and social data and consulted on environmental project investments. He also initiated and successfully implemented the firm’s forest certification activity. Other positions held include Head of Business Development at ONF International where he led the ONFI’s work on the development of the Moringa Fund. Mr. Chenost has a Master’s degrees in Ecology and Biology, an Executive Master’s in Environmental Management (Mines ParisTech) and qualified as a Rural Engineering, Water Management & Forest Engineer from ENGREF-AgroParisTech. He has also served as an associate professor at les Mines, Agro ParisTech and HEC Business School.
