Rachmat Witoelar

Rachmat Witoelar is the Special Envoy for Climate Change of Indonesia President. Prior to this, he was also the Executive Chair of the Indonesian National Council on Climate Change. A graduate of the Bandung Institute of Technology in 1971, he served as the Minister of Environment in 2004-2009. He served as the Indonesian Ambassador to Russia (1993–1997), and had a long tenure as member of the Indonesian Parliament (1971–1993).
