Gerardo Honty is Investigator for Energy and Climate Change at the Centro Latino Americano de Ecología Social (CLAES). He was an observer at the COP 16 in Cancún, Mexico in 2010. He is following the climate change negotiations from the start and has participated in various COPs and other important meetings.
