Aulia has ten years of experience in programme implementation and research including field surveys and marketing analysis of local products in Indonesia. His research interest includes value chain analysis, marketing, and small and medium enterprise development. At ICRAF he served as team member for several projects, including the ACIAR-funded Improving Economic Outcomes for Smallholders Teak project, the CIDA-funded Agroforestry and Forestry Sulawesi: Linking Knowledge to Action project, and ACIAR-funded Livelihoods and Food Security project in Nepal. He is currently the project leader for ACIAR-funded project titled Development of timber and non-timber forest products’ production and market strategies for improvement of smallholder livelihoods in Indonesia.
