Senior Forest Policy Officer, IUCN Global Forest and Climate Change Programme

Patrick Wylie is Senior Forest Policy Officer at the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).  Patrick works to connect global and multilateral policy arenas with practical guidance from IUCN projects, expertise and membership – state, government agency or organizational.  A forester by trade, spatial timber supply analyst by practice and with a background in International Studies he is now based in Washington, DC.  Mr. Wylie has also served with the International Affairs Division of the Canadian Forest Service and worked with land-use planning, remote sensing, forest certification and community/model forest development in Ecuador, Bolivia, Asia and his native Canada.
