REDD+ safeguards Specialist, Regional Government San Martín, Peru
Patricia Porras de las Heras works on the implementation of REDD+ safeguards in the Region San Martín, Peru, a joint effort by the NGO Conservation International and the regional government. Previously she was a consultant for UNEP, developing the Peruvian monitoring system for social and environmental REDD+ safeguards for indigenous peoples. She also taught at the University for Applied Sciences of Peru. Her professional background is in Agronomy, Anthropology and Rural Development.
