Farming provides services outside of crop production, it can aid in carbon capture among other ecological side benefits. These ecosystem services could be a boon to farmers if there were a feasible means to provide compensation for them. This blog provides an analysis of how a landscape level approach can be used to enhance any economic benefits and incentives offered by a payment for ecosystem services program.
