Shauna Matkovich is an Investment Manager at the International Woodland Company (IWC). IWC is a Danish private timberland multi-manager with 25 years experience in developing customized global timberland investment portfolios for institutional investors. Shauna specifically works with risk and compliance and executing IWC’s sustainability mandate across IWC’s direct investments in Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia and is currently developing an impact investment thesis for IWC. Shauna has also worked as an operational forester in her home country, Canada and in New Zealand and holds a double MSc in Sustainable Tropical Forestry and Agricultural Development from Copenhagen University and the Technical University of Dresden.
