Edit Kiss is Director of Business Development and Operations at Althelia Ecosphere,a transformational sustainable asset management platform financing the transition towards sustainable land use. She has over 8 years of experience in climate finance, carbon markets and sustainable land use working in the private sector across Paris, London, Budapest, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Her previous roles among others included Carbon Portfolio and Structured Origination Manager at Eneco, a renewable energy company in the Netherlands, ad-hoc advisor for IUCN Netherlands working on the linkage of REDD+ with biodiversity compensation/ green agricultural commodities and Carbon Trader at Bank of America. Furthermore, she was a member of the CCB Standard Revision Committee and has been serving on the Steering Committee of CodeREDD in 2012/13. Ms. Kiss is an environmental economist, holding an MSc from Corvinus University of Budapest and HEC Paris as well as a postgraduate certificate in Tropical Forestry from Bangor University.
