Charles is Head of Research at Map of Agriculture where he leads the development of agricultural analytics. Previously he has worked as Head of Research of Craigmore Sustainables LLP, a farmland and forestry investment manager, and as International Officer at HSBC. Charles read economics at Cambridge and completed a MA in International Relations at Yale, followed by a doctorate in Political Science at the Free University of Berlin. Charles is a Visiting Business Fellow at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, Oxford University.
