Mr Domaniczky is a civil engineer with 20 years of experience working with Binacional Itaipu, business that operates in the Itaipu hydroelectric dam, with a specialization in water, energy and environment. He has been in charge of different strategic positions in the managerial structure of Itaipu Binacional. He is currently the Executive Coordination Director for Paraguay and is in charge of supporting the development of the dam’s area of influence including environmental efforts such as ITAIPU’s programs for conservation of biodiversity and the restoration of the Atlantic Forest riparian corridor. As part of this role, he is the General Director of the Biodiversity project financed by the GEF and with the World Bank as the executing agency. This project was closed in April, 2016.
