Dr. Andrew Wardell has over thirty years experience working on natural resource management and capacity development issues in South-East Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa countries. Since 1 April 2014, he became Senior Manager, Research Capacity and Partnership Development for the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) based at CIRAD in Montpellier, France. He currently manages two large capacity-building projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo, supports the sustainable management of the Virunga National Park landscape in eastern DRC and coordinates CIFOR’s The Landscape Fund initiative.
