Jeff Seabright

Jeff Seabright is the chief sustainability officer of Unilever. He is responsible for driving transformational change in priority areas of Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan through advocacy and partnerships. These areas include climate change and eliminating deforestation; sustainable agriculture and smallholder farmers; water, sanitation, and hygiene; and opportunities for women. Previously, Seabright served as vice president for environmental and water resources at the Coca-Cola Company. He began his career as a strategy consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton, and went on to serve as foreign service officer with the U.S. State Department, based in Brussels. Seabright returned to Washington to serve as a legislative assistant to U.S. Senators Timothy Wirth and John D. Rockefeller IV. He worked for the head of the U.S. Agency for International Development under the Clinton Administration, and later served as the director of the Office of the Energy, Environment, and Technology, and executive director of the Climate Change Task Force. Following his government work, Seabright was the vice president of policy planning at Texaco. He is also a board member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Forests, the World Environment Center, Global Water Challenge, and Imperial College London. Seabright received his Master’s degree in International Relations at the London School of Economics.
