She joined the Environmental Management Department of the Corporaci\u00f3n Aut\u00f3noma Regional del Valle del Cauca (CVC) in 2001\u00a0and\u00a0oversees the institution\u2019s community-focused water management projects. She has worked with communities and indigenous populations on environmental conservation and natural resource management projects across Colombia, leading efforts to strengthen locally-managed water systems.
