He\u00a0has also led the organization&#8217;s\u00a0recent expansion into Peru and Colombia. Mr. Paladines has served as coordinator of the United Nations Geo-Loja report and as President of the Regional Council of the Catamayo-Chira river basin. In recognition of his efforts in conservation and environmental management, he\u00a0received the Podocarpus Award from Loja\u2019s Provincial Council for his efforts.
