Pier Luigi Sigismondi is Unilever’s\u00a0Chief Supply Chain Officer, heading a global operation consisting of 270 factories delivering \u20ac23 billion of cost of goods sold. He\u00a0was appointed as a Non-Executive Member of the Supervisory Board of Rexel in May 2013. He\u00a0started his career with Booz Allen & Hamilton as an industrial engineer and worked in several industries (aerospace, automotive and appliances among others), heading several multi-national assignments in the US and Europe.\u00a0He joined global management consultancy A T Kearney in 1997 and became Vice President of operations in Italy. In 2002, Pier Luigi joined Nestl\u00e9 SA as Vice President of Corporate Operations Strategies. Mr. Sigismondi\u00a0led the Innovation Acceleration initiatives for Nestl\u00e9 across all the business categories.
