He is responsible for identifying and developing investment strategies, sourcing capital, managing investor relations, coordinating the investment process, and ensuring institutional-quality monitoring and reporting. He\u00a0was Vice-President at Climate Change Capital Limited, where he led a team that developed a strategy for a global farmland fund. Before that, he served\u00a0as Engagement Manager for\u00a0McKinsey &amp; Company in New York and as technical advisor to the Indonesian government and UNDP\u00a0on the establishment of investment funds for small and medium-sized enterprises in emerging markets. Mr. \u00a0McMahon has worked as an advisor on sustainable agriculture and food security to FAO, The Prince\u2019s Charities\u2019 International Sustainability Unit and the Qatar National Food Security Programme. He is an Associate Fellow for Energy, Environment and Resources at Chatham House.\u00a0He\u00a0holds a BA in History and Philosophy from University College Dublin, an MPhil in International Relations and PhD in History from Cambridge University.
