Annisa Rahmawati

Forest Campaigner, Greenpeace South East Asia

Annisa Rahmawati is a Forest Campaigner at Greenpeace Southeast Asia and based in Indonesia. Her work focuses on the palm oil sector and corporate outreach to protect the remaining forests in Indonesia. She has been actively involved in The Palm Oil Innovation Group, The High Carbon Stock Approach Steering Group and supporting smallholders initiative. She started her career working in various NGOs and international organization since 2006 and joined Greenpeace in 2013 to campaign for forests protection. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Biology from Brawijaya University of Malang in Indonesia and graduated from International Management of Resources and Environment TU Bergakademie Freiberg Germany. During her study she won the full scholarship from Heinrich Boell Stiftung Germany.
