Amy Duchelle

Amy Duchelle is a Scientist at the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) in Indonesia. Prior to moving to Indonesia, she lived and worked in Brazil for 10 years. Her research interests include forest-based climate change mitigation, smallholder and community forest management, social and environmental safeguards, and research impact pathways. Since 2010, she has been involved in analyzing the effectiveness, efficiency, equity, and co-benefits of sub-national REDD+ initiatives in six countries as part of CIFOR’s Global Comparative Study on REDD+. She has authored over 40 scientific publications and contributed to CIFOR’s Forests News blog.
