National Director, Ecosystem and Society Department, Chilean National Forestry Corporation (CONAF)
Washington Alvarado Toledano is National Director of the Ecosystem and Society Department at the National Forestry Corporation (CONAF) of the Government of Chile. He qualified as a forest engineer from the University of Chile and has specialized in conflict management, local economic development and natural forest management. Mr. Toledano has more than ten years of experience in managing multi-stakeholder platforms through an ecosystem approach to address concrete social and economic development problems in South Chile.
