Ricardo Hernandez Sanchez is the Undersecretary of Forest Development at the Secretariat of Natural History and Environment of Chiapas. Former positions include Director of Climate Change of the Secretariat of Natural History and Environment of Chiapas, General Director of Na Bolom A. C., International Consultant at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and Mexico Country Director for Conservation International (CI). The Undersecretariat has studies of PhD at the Ecology Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and is specialized in biology, economic and social development, ecotourism, natural protected areas, climate change and ecosystem services.
