Facilitator, UNFCCC Standing Committee on Finance
Raymond Landveld currently serves as Co-Facilitator for the UNFCCC’s Standing Committee on Finance and as a counsellor at the permanent representation of the Republic of Suriname at the UN. With a background in economics, Mr. Landveld has worked on issues relating to sustainable development, including for local communities and indigenous people. Before joining the Foreign Service of the Republic of Suriname, he worked for the National Forum of NGOs in Suriname, Conservation International and the Global Environment Facility.
