Leader of the WWF Forest and Climate Programme
As leader of the WWF Forest and Climate Programme, Peter Graham is responsible for overseeing WWF’s work on forest and climate issues, focused on reducing emissions from deforestation and degradation (REDD+). He is an accomplished expert and advocate for innovative approaches to forest and climate work with over 20 years of experience in the forestry sector. Prior to joining WWF, he served as a co-chair of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change negotiations and was the lead negotiator and policy advisor on REDD+ for the Canadian government. Mr. Graham has a Bachelor of science and a Master’s degree in forestry.
