International Consultant
Pedro Bara Neto is an international consultant. As the Managing Director of a strategic consultancy company, he was responsible for proposing a terrestrial development agenda from the viewpoint of indigenous people and traditional communities living in the area of the would-be third largest hydropower project in the world. Previously he acted as the Amazon Policy Director of WWF in the United States. Since the mid 90’s his professional trajectory has been marked by the Amazon, having participated in some of the most important initiatives in development and conservation. He contributes to advocacy of criteria and practices to guarantee a balance between the social, environmental and economic values while making regional investment decisions.
