Head of Climate Change Division, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Indonesia
Novia Widyaningtyas is the Head of Climate Change Division, Centre for Standardization and Environment, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Indonesia. She has been working with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (formerly Ministry of Forestry) since 1995 on forest products inventory, watershed management, and dissemination of forestry research and development. Since 2011, she she is involved in forest and climate change issues. Ms. Widyaningtyas has been actively involved in the development of REDD+ Safeguards Information System (SIS) of Indonesia. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, and a Masters of Applied Sciences in Natural Resource Management from Massey University of New Zealand.
