Program Officer, Hivos
Juan Pablo Solís Víquez is Program Officer for Hivos, promoting Green Societies in Latin American countries. He has worked in over 10 countries on topics such as Sustainable Agriculture, Rural Finance, Value Chains, Gender and, most recently, in protocols to address climate change in agricultural practices (adaptation, mitigation and food security). Mr. Solis has eight years of experience in Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Change, developing innovation platforms to increase capacities of smallholders in their landscape in more than nine countries. He has a Master’s degree in Economic Policy from The International Centre of Economic Policies (CINPE). He also studied Economy at the National University of Costa Rica (UNA).
