José Antonio Montero Solano is the Leader of Public Policy Programs for Pronatura-Sur, based in Chiapas, Mexico. He also works as a consultant for the International Consortium on Combating Wildlife Crime. Previously he served as a consultant to the United Nations Development Program in Chiapas. He is a lawyer with a specialization in environmental and international law and environmental rights and holds a Master’s Degree in Policy, Management and Environmental Law from the Universidad Anáhuac de Xalapa.
