Hambulo Ngoma is a PhD candidate in development and environmental economics in the School of Economics and Business, Norwegian University of Life Sciences. His research explores the linkages between livelihoods, agricultural practices and land use among smallholder farmers in sub-Saharan Africa. Specifically, he focuses on drivers and barriers of conservation agriculture (CA) adoption, productivity impact of CA, and drivers of agricultural land expansion and the role of CA in conserving forests.
